DESCRIPTION

Cajeput may aid in the treatment of bronchitis, colds and flu and viral infections due to its high percentage of cineole which gives an expectorant quality.  Cajeput oil is commonly used as an ingredient in throat lozenges and gargles, due to its excellent antiseptic properties. It is also used as a fragrance and freshening agent in soaps, cosmetics, detergents and perfumes, and as a flavour component in food products and soft drinks.
