This herbal eye tincture is used for eye disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinopathy, and night blindness. In addition, it can be used to help promote general eye health.
INTERNAL USE
Shake the bottle, then squeeze the dropper completely so that you have one full dropper of the tincture. Use 1-3 full droppers in a small glass of warm water, and take 3 times daily.
EXTERNAL USE
Best done before retiring to bed
Shake the bottle well. Place 3-5 drops of the tincture into each of two clean & sterile glass eyecups, one for each eye. Pour some boiling water in each eyecup, almost filling it to the rim. Let the eyecups cool to room temperature.
DO NOT USE UNTIL THE CUPS & SOLUTION HAVE REACHED ROOM TEMPERATURE, AND DO NOT USE CRACKED OR CHIPPED EYECUPS.
With contact lenses removed, use the cooled eyewash solution by tipping the head forward, place the eyecup onto the eye (press gently), then tilt your head backwards, blinking as though swimming underwater. Blink a few times.
IMPORTANT:
THERE IS A BURNING SENSATION DUE TO THE CAYENNE. THIS IS NORMAL, AND PART OF THE PROCESS. THIS SENSATION WILL DISSIPATE (USUALLY IN 30-60 SECONDS).
YOU CAN PRESS GENTLY ON YOUR CLOSED EYELIDS TO HELP MINIMISE THE SENSATION. A SLIGHT REDNESS TO THE EYE IS LIKELY TO OCCUR AS A RESULT OF CIRCULATION BEING DIRECTED INTO THE EYEBALL BY THE CAYENNE – THIS IS CRUCIAL IN DELIVERING THE HERBS TO YOUR EYES!
Repeat the procedure with the other eye.
