Masala chai, or spiced tea, is typically made on a stove top using milk and sweetened with honey or sugar. Of course, it is just lovely when brewed in the usual way using a cup or teapot as well. The longer you steep it, the more intense the flavour. We prefer Loving Earth's coconut blossom sugar with our cup of chai, as it has a gorgeous maple flavour and is pretty darned healthy as far as sweeteners go!
